Hott, 49, RD 8, Valley Road, died May 10, 1981, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.; shortly after being admitted. He was born in Cumberland, Md.; and was a son of the late Kirk G. Hott and Allie B. (Booher) Hott. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of Bowman's Addition Fire Department and was last employed as a maintenance man for the Allegany County Board of Education. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Brenda Lee Shroyer, Hyndman RD 1, Pa.; a son, Donald W. Hott, Valley Road RD 8; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Barger, Mrs. Alice Evans and Mrs. Arlene Smith, all of Cumberland; four brothers, Lowell Hott and William Hott, both of Alexandria, Va.; Wendall Hott and Robert Hott, both of Cumberland, and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence where services were conducted with the Rev. James C. Shockey officiating. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
