Born Oct. 2, 1908 in Somerset Township. Daughter of Ira W. and Anna Martha (Miller) Blough. Preceded in death by parents, husband John William Hottle, who died March 18, 1986; daughter Arlene Smith who died Dec. 21, 1991; granddaughter Jennifer Hottle who died Sept. 13, 1998; brothers, Homer Blough, Lawrence Blough, and J. Willard Blough and sister Evelyn Blough. Survived by children, Lawrence M. Hottle married to the former Jacqueline Harmon of Friedens; Mrs. E. Neil (Eunice) Pile of Friedens; Ray E. Hottle married to the former Myrna Nichol of Waterloo, Iowa; Ralph W. Hottle married to the former Linda Barron of Somerset; Marlin J. Hottle of Hollsopple; son-in-law Donald Smith of Somerset, and former daughter-in-law Linda Glessner Hottle of Jenner. Also 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Member of Listie Grace Brethren Church, Listie, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years. A 1925 graduate of Somerset Township High School. Owner and operator of the former Geiger Gift and Ceramic Shop for 21 years from 1967-1988. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Ronzil L. Jarvis and Rev. Larry R.
