Hottle, 78, Friedens RD 1, died March 18, 1986, at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown. Born April 9, 1907, in Quemahoning Township, he was a son of the late William Luther and Lena Alice (Lamberson) Hottle. Preceded in death by brothers, Harry and Carthen, and sisters, Mrs. Ruth Pugh and Mrs. Ethel Weible. Survived by his wife, the former Edna Grace Blough, Friedens RD 1; and these children: Mrs. Dolan M. (Arlene) Smith, Friedens RD 1; Lawrence M., Friedens RD 1; Mrs. E. Neil (Eunice) Pile, Friedens RD 1; Ray E., Waterloo, Iowa; Ralph W., Somerset RD 3; Marlin J., Hollsopople [sic] RD 1; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also brothers and sisters: Mrs. Adam (Alma) Ringler, Somerset; Robert, Somerset; and Mrs. Walter (Evaline) Moon, Friedens RD 1. He was a retired steel worker for U.S. Steel Corp., Johnstown. He was a member of the Listie Brethren Church and the United Steel Workers of America. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (today) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ronzil L.
