  Alice Marie Houpt, 60, of South Park Ave., Somerset, died Feb. 1,
  1978 in the Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 17, 1917 in
  Somerset, a daughter of Milton J. and Cora (Miller) Durst.  Preceded
  in death by parents.  Survived by husband, Robert P. Houpt Jr.; and
  these children: Connie, wife of Clifford Dunmeyer of Somerset RD 5,
  Milton Robert of Somerset; Edward of Somerset RD 5; Donald of
  Friedens RD 2; and Jay Earl of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren and these
  brothers and sisters: John M. Durst of Somerset RD 3; William of
  Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Louise Spangler and Lee, both of Cleveland, Ohio;
  and George and Abram, both of Somerset; Mrs. Bessie Beam of Somerset
  RD 6; and Franklin of Streetsboro, Ohio; Clark of Listie; and Henry
  of Haverill, Mass.  Member of the First Christian Church; Somerset
  Firemen's Auxiliary; Somerset BPW; Loyal Order of Police; and former
  employee of Somerset Borough.  Friends are being received in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted
  Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul P. Weber officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
