   Betty Jean Houpt, 77, Markleysburg, formerly of Berlin, died March 31, 2007 at Uniontown
  Hospital. Born Dec. 15, 1929 in Somerset, the daughter of the late Clyde and Elizabeth
  Marie (Smith) Houpt. A 1948 graduate of Somerset High School. Also a member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church. She had worked as a clerk for McCory's and Somerset Paint Supply until
  her retirement. Friends received from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held immediately following at 11 a.m. The
  Reverends Linda J. McElroy and Robert Hoover officiating. Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, 918 Tayman Ave.,
