  GRACE I. HOUPT
  
    Grace I. Houpt, 89, North Center Avenue, Somerset, died Aug. 30, 1983, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born July 21, 1894, in Somerset, a daughter of the late Manassas
  and Sarah (Wisler) Pifer.
    She was preceded in death by husband, Robert; one daughter, Anna
  Catherine; one sister and three brothers; Gertrude Bruner, Dewey Pifer,
  John, and Royden.
    She is survived by these children: Sarah Jane Creery, Somerset; Robert
  P., Somerset RD 5; Gladys Bucholz, Lorain, Ohio; Dorothy, wife of Charles
  Brant, Somerset; and Jay E. married to the former Polly Dwire, Rockwood RD
  1; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the
  United Church of Christ, Somerset.  She was the last remaining member of
  her family.
