  ADA CAROLYN HOUSE
  May 26, 1940- June 25, 2002
  
    Ada Carolyn House, 62, of Grantsville, Md., died Tuesday, June 25, 2002,
  at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born May 26, 1940, in Pocahontas, she was a daughter of Leona (McKenzie)
  Oester, Grantsville, and the late Charles Oester. 
    She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Harold House, May
  22, 1994; one brother, Edgar "Dick" Oester and one niece, Patricia Beitzel.
    Mrs. House was a member of the Church of the Brethren, was a homemaker
  and member of Allegany/Garrett Sportmen's Association.
    She is survived by her daughter Donna Warnick and husband Donnie, Port
  Royal; two step-daughters: Judy Shaffer, Meyersdale and Carolyn Graham,
  Texas; three stepsons: Robert, Gordon and Larry House, both of Grantsville;
  three brothers: Donald and David Oester, both of Meyersdale and Charles K.
  Oester, Springs; four sisters: Bonnie Minnick, Mill Run; Clara Christner,
  Meyersdale; Lois Rugg, Confluence, and Linda House, Grantsville; and two
  grandsons: Bryan Basinger and Shawn Warnick.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Friday,
  June 28.  Services were conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, June 29,
  with the Rev. Curtis Ketterman officiating.  Interment, Durst Cemetery.
