  HOUSEL
  
    Doreithea Mae Housel, 73, of Meyersdale died Sept. 12, 2000 at her
  home.  She was born Sept. 20, 1926 in Elk Lick Township.  A daughter
  of the late Isaac and Golda (Kendall) Blake.  Preceded in death by
  her husband Harold in 1983.  She is survived by a son Harry William
  of Meyersdale, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three
  sisters, Shirley Baer of Baltimore, Md., Edna Paul of Salisbury,
  Evelyn Moser of Addison and a brother Burdette of Grantsville, Md. 
  She was a member of Amity United Church of Christ, Meyersdale,
  Charles E. Kelly Post American Legion Auxiliary, and Meyersdale
  Chapter Order of Eastern Star 548.  Friends will be received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Leckemby Funeral Home, where funeral
  service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Pastor Bruce Ashlock
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
