  LENORE KATHRYN HOUSEL
  
    Lenore Kathryn Housel, 88, of West Chester, Pa., died Sunday, July 7,
  1996, at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia.
    Born in Meyersdale, she was the daughter of the late Harvey A. and Alice
  (Hostetler) Housel.
    She was a teacher in the West Chester School District at the High Street
  and Pierce Schools from 1946 to 1971.  She also taught in Somerset County
  schools from 1926 to 1946.
    She was a graduate of Meyersdale High School and California State
  Teachers College, and she received her master's degree from Temple
  University.
    She was a member of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren in Meyersdale.
    Housel is survived by a nephew, Clyde Housel, of Elyria, Ohio; two
  great-nephews and two great-great nephews.
    Funeral services were held Friday, July 12, at the Hostetler Church of
  the Brethren.  Interment, Hostetler Cemetery, Greenville Township.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Hostetler Church of the
  Brethren, RD 3, Box 20, Meyersdale, PA 15552.
    Arrangements were handled by the DellaVecchia, Reilly and Smith Funeral
  Home, Inc., in West Chester.
