Miller Houser, 79, of Stoystown died Dec. 3, 1993, at home. Born Aug. 23, 1914, in Quemahoning Township. Daughter of Russell and Edna (Figge) Winters. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Walter I. Miller; second husband, W. Daley Houser, and an infant sister, Dorothy. Survived by daughters: Mrs. L. Reed (Kay) Sipe of Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Neil (Elaine) Walker, Stoystown RD 3, and Mrs. Thomas (Audrey) Kimmel, Boiling Springs. Also stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Gloria) Smay of El Paso, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sister of Homer and Earl, both of Somerset; Lester and Alice Leventry, both of Johnstown; Margaret Cameron of Hooversville, and Paul of Downingtown. Retired from Dorfman-Hoffman Garment Factories of Jerome and Boswell. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown; Sixth Society of Farm Women and Forbes Area Senior Citizens. Accomplished artist and taught painting locally. Family received friends Sunday evening and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing at St. Paul's United Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Karyl J. Leslie. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
