  HOWARD
  
    Albert C. Howard, 75, of 117 Washington Ave., Salisbury, died Jan.
  13, 1999, at his residence. Born Sept. 5, 1923, in Johnstown, he was
  a son of the late Albert L. and Hannah (Kahoe) Howard. He was also
  preceded in death by his wife, Lois L. (Gano) Howard, in 1983.
  Survived by a son, Albert L., Baltimore; 2 daughters: Lea McKenzie,
  Salisbury, and Sherrie Carnes, Baltimore; 6 grandchildren and a great
  grandson. Veteran of World War II. Charter member of Dundalk, Md. VFW.
  Retired longshoreman. Friends will be received 1-3 p.m. Friday at the
  Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., where services will be
  conducted at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
  Interment at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens,
  Baltimore, Md. Expressions of sympathy maybe directed to the American
  Heart Association.
