She was 69 years old. Miss Howard and her two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Grey Howard and Miss Francis Howard arrived in Oakland from Baltimore three weeks ago to spend the summer, where the family had spent every summer since 1857. Miss Howard was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Baltimore and of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Oakland. Surviving are the sisters, who were with her in Oakland at the time of her death. Miss Howard had been ill for some time. A brother, Charles McHenry, Baltimore attorney, died several months ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday in her Baltimore home with burial in St. Thomas's church yard. Meyersdale Republican, August 26, 1943
