  HOWARD
  
    Truman E. Howard, RD 1, Box 450, Altoona, died unexpectedly in
  State College Nov. 3, 1975. He was born in Somerset, Feb. 11, 1914, a
  son of John and Jennie (Walker) Howard. He was married to Dorothy M.
  Garlick July 27, 1945, in Altoona. He is survived by his wife; four
  children: John, Mrs. Beverly Miller, Mrs. Jennifer Conrad and
  Melissa, all of Altoona; 3 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 1 sister:
  Earl, Paul, George and Miss Elsie, all of Somerset. Friends will be
  received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hickey-Davies Funeral
  Home, Altoona. Funeral services will be Thursday, 3 p.m., at the
  Christ Second Lutheran Church.
