  SAMUEL HOWDERSHELT
  
    Samuel Earl Howdershelt, 76, Friendsville, Md., died Sept. 12,
  1972, in West Virginia University Medical Center.
    A native of Friendsville, he was a son of the late Samuel and Sarah
  (Funk) Howdershelt.
    Surviving are a brother, Oscar Howdershelt, Friendsville, and a
  sister, Mrs. Lottie Liston, Reedsville, Md.
    Funeral service will be conducted Friday afternoon in Newman
  Funeral Home, Friendsville. Interment in Red Rock Cemetery near
  there.
