  HOWE
  
    Gladys (Price) Howe, 91, of Meyersdale died Oct. 25, 1998, at her
  home. Born Nov. 27, 1907, Latrobe. A daughter of the late Amos and
  Annie (Allen) Price. Also preceded in death by her husband, Frank H.
  Howe. Survived by her niece and two nephews: Marcia Anne Marshall,
  Pittsburgh; John Francis Yetter, Tallahasee, Fla. Graduate of Latrobe
  High School and Ohio Wesleyan University Class of 1927. She resided in
  Salisbury and Meyersdale since retiring from teaching in 1970. She
  taught English composition, drama, forensics at Corry High School,
  Corry, PA; South Hills High School, Taylor Allderdice High School,
  and the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh. A private memorial
  service will be conducted in Pittsburgh at a time convenient to the
  family. Memorials may be made to the Meyersdale Volunteer Fire
  Department, Meyersdale Ambulance Association, or the Salisbury
  Disaster Relief in care of the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.
