Hoyle, 90, 207 Penn Ave., Sharon, died in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage, on Feb. 3, 1981, following a year's illness. He was born in Berlin Nov. 11, 1890, the son of Levi L. and Elizabeth Jane (Baker) Hoyle. He was a retired store manager and a World War I veteran, honorary member of the Sharon Lions Club, was a life member in Sharon American Legion Post No. 299. He was an ardent sportsman and for years was sponsor of the Hoyle Basketball Tournament held annually in Sharon. He was a former member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Funeral services were held at Leipheimer Funeral Home, Farrell. Interment at the Berlin I.O.O.F.
