William Albert Hoyman, Jr., aged 43, died Tuesday at his home in Meyersdale following a brief illness. He was born in Garrett, a son of William and Tena (Keefer) Hoyman, on October 8, 1896. Surviving are his father, a resident of LaVale, Md., his widow, Mrs. Estella (Miller) Hoyman, a daughter, Dorothy, and an adopted son, William, both at home. Mr. Hoyman was a brother of Mrs. Mahlon Fike, Mrs. Charles Long and Mrs. Irvin Baker, Garrett; Mrs. Arthur Knepp, Meyersdale R.D.; Mrs. Donald Owens, Johnstown; Lewis Hoyman, Frostburg, Md., and Roy and Alvin Hoyman, both of Garrett. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock in the Amity Reformed Church, conducted by Rev. Nelson C. Brown, pastor of that church and Rev. H. K. Hilner, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the Garrett Cemetery under the direction of R. Reich and Son, Meyersdale morticians. Meyersdale Republican, February 15, 1940
