  Joseph S. Hoyt, 54, died Jan. 5, 1986.  Resided at 817 E. 28th St., Erie. 
  Husband of Eleanor (Porter) Hoyt.  Employed as a claims adjustor in the
  Somerset area for many years.  Father of James Hoyt and brother of Thomas
  C. Hoyt, all of Erie.  Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski and Son
  Funeral Home Inc., East 21st and Ash Streets, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. 
  Services will be held Wednesday at St. Peter's Cathedral at 10 a.m. 
  Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
