   Robert "Mooney" Hrebik, 72, Windber, passed away suddenly Jan. 25, 2007, at his
  residence. Born July 31, 1934, the beloved son of Stephen and Helen (Petrilla) Hrebik.
  Preceded in death by parents; stepmother, Mary (Homick) Hrebik; sister, Margaret Hegedus;
  brothers, John Hrebik, Eugene Homick and Joseph Homick. Survived by sisters, Catherine
  Leason, Edgewater, Md., and Anna Marie Matula, Dunkirk, Md. Robert was also survived by
  numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A U.S. Air Force veteran during
  the Korean Conflict era. Retired employee of the United states government. Member of
  Windber American Legion and VFW. Robert was an avid sports fan who enjoyed attending
  various Windber High School sporting events. Member of SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox
  Church, Windber. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the William Kisiel
  Funeral Home, Windber, where a Panachida service will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Brief
  service 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by burial service at 10 a.m. at SS.
  Peter and Paul Orthodox Church. The Very Rev. Protopresbyter David J. Smoley officiating.
  Interment church cemetery.
