  MRS. HORACE HUBBARD
  
    Mrs. Catherine V. Hubbard, 60, of 1 Cheney Street, Johnstown, died April
  25, 1975, in Lee Hospital, Johnstown.
    Born July 22, 1914, in Johnstown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence
  W. and Ivy L. Virgin.
    Surviving are her husband, Horace J. Hubbard; and two sons, Thomas and
  Horace J. Jr., both of Johnstown; and six grandchildren.
    She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and teacher of Semper
  Parata Class, Johnstown; a member of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital
  Alumnae Association; Pennsylvania State Education Association; and National
  Education Association.  Mrs. Hubbard was a school nurse in Westmont Hilltop
  School District.
    The Hubbards are former residents of the Meyersdale community.
    Private funeral service was conducted Sunday evening in William T.
  Hindman Funeral Home, Johnstown, with Rev. James E. Cuppett and Rev. David
  N. Finney officiating.  Interment Monday in Grandview Cemetery.
