Born June 21, 1897, in Czechoslovakia, son of John and Annie (Gmitter) Hudak. Preceded in death by parents, a sister and two brothers. Survived by a sister, Mary Stupensky, and a brother, George, both of Czechoslovakia. Also a number of nieces and nephews. Retired employee of former Hillman Coal and Coke Co., Jerome. Veteran of World Wars I and II. Member UMW of A Local 998, Tire Hill, Jerome American Legion Post 802 and Polish Falcons of America Nest 556, Jerome. Long-time resident of Jerome. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where Wake Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
