Huff, 62, of Rockville, Md.; and formerly of Jennings, Md., died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1988, at his home. Born in Jennings, Md., he was the son of Mrs. Alice (Guinn) Huff, Frostburg, Md. and the late Ira Huff. He was a 1943 graduate of Grantsville High School, Md., and served in the Army during World War II and attended Frostburg State College. A graduate of Echols School of Mortuary Science, Philadelphia, he moved to the Rockville area, where he was the manager of several Hot Shoppe restaurants for 31 years. He was a member of Grantsville Lutheran Church, Mountain Lodge 99, AF&AM, Frostburg, Md., and the William D. Byron Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hagerstown, Md. Also surviving are his widow, Elizabeth Jane (Beachy) Huff; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Amelia Morgan, Reading; Mrs. Amy Frances Otto and Alice Guinn Huff, both of Gaithersburg, Md.; one son, Ira Huff, at home; and one brother, Luther M. Huff, Grantsville, Md. Services were held Friday in the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Silver Spring, Md. Interment, Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville. The Republic, January 14, 1988 [H1879]
