Huff Jr., 69, Friedens, formerly of Pretoria, died Dec. 22, 2000 at Meadow View Nursing Home, Berlin. Born May 13, 1931 in Boswell, son of William and Bertha (Miller) Huff Sr. Preceded in death by parents, wife, former Kathryn Jury, infant daughter Sherry Joy, and two brothers, Joseph Huff and Robert Huff. Survived by daughters, Marsha married to Russell Hagans of Hollsopple, Carol Nesmith of Windber, and Lisa married to Stephen Shaulis of Friedens, and son Timothy of Maryland. Also survived by grandchildren Amanda Hagans and Frances Jesse Meier, Nathan Hagans, Ryan and Tyler Nesmith and Brent, K.C. Shaulis. Also these great-grandchildren Shane and Brandon Meier; brother to Dorothy Williams of Ohio, Betty married to Homer Sullivan of Hollsopple, and Ruth married to Paul Moore of Fla. Also survived by special friends Bernie (Dutch) Rose, Sharon and Dick Ross, Nancy and Winnie, and Harry and Linda. Attended Hollsopple United Methodist Church. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. an Army Veteran. Member of F & AM Masonic Lodge 538 Johnstown, Jaffa Temple Scottish Consistory Valley of Altoona. No viewing or receiving friends at his request. The public is invited to attend a memorial service at 7 p.m. today at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, by the Rev. Thomas J. Michalko. Interment, Custer Cemetery.
