  Primilla (Bell) Hughes, 73, 401 Salisbury St., Meyersdale, formerly of
  Irwin, died May 11, 1988, at her daughter's home.  She was born Feb. 22,
  1915, in Irwin, daughter of the late Oscar and Kate (Gongaware) Bell.  Also
  preceded in death by husband, Charles E. Hughes, January 1986.  Surviving
  are: daughter, Mrs. George (Mary Alice) Grimm, Meyersdale; six
  grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Grace Gibson, Pearland, Texas.  She was a
  member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin.  Before her retirement she
  owned and operated the Primilla Beauty Shop, Irwin.  Friends will be
  received at Joseph F. Ott Funeral Home, Fifth and Oak Streets, Irwin, 2-4,
  7-9 p.m. Thursday.  Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in
  Immaculate Conception Church.  Interment will follow in Irwin Catholic
  Cemetery.
