    Sherdiee D. Hughes, 44, of Mason Dixon Highway, Garrett died Jan. 6, 1998
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born March 1, 1953 in Punxsutawney.  Son of Irene
  (Lockard) Hughes Tabakah of Bedford and the late Chester Hughes.  Preceded
  in death by father; two infant sisters; daughter, Jennifer and a nephew
  Chris Hughes.  Survived by mother; wife, the former Neva Foy; daughters
  Sonya and Carrie of Garrett, and son Sheridan of Garrett.  Brother of
  Charlotte Nause, Bedford; Adaline Craig of Everett; Mrs. Kevin (Pauline)
  Yandow of Essex Junction, Vt.; Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Walker, Springs;
  Chester of Baltimore, Md.; Gary of Assonet, Mass., and Tony of Michigan. 
  Also survived by granddaughters, Teisha Hughes and Jessica Hafer.  Veteran
  of the U.S. Army.  Member of the Central City Full Gospel Church.  Friends
  will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral
  service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Pastor David Brady
  officiating.  Interment, Foy Cemetery, Berlin.  Memorial contributions may
  be made to the family.
