Hulslander, 64, of Chardon Township, died Jan. 11, 1990, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. She was born Aug. 8, 1925, in Salisbury, and lived in Washington, D.C. and Adrian, Mich., before moving to Chardon Township 10 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Douglas; stepsons, Thomas, of Marietta, GA; and Dan, of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Dorothy J. Brown, of Richmond, VA; brothers, Carl F. Broadwater, Madison Township and Earl K., of Hunting Valley; five grandchildren and an Aunt, Mrs. Marion Stephen, Accident, MD. She was a 1946 graduate of the Cadet Nursing Corp in Washington, D.C., retired in 1963 as a registered nurse for Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C., was a member of Old South United Church of Christ in Kirtland. Friends were received at the Burr Funeral Home, Chardon Village, where services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jay Schmidt, of Central Congregation Church in Madison officiating.
