WELLINGTON Q. HUMBERT

  Dr. Wellington Q. Humbert, 79, died recently in Philadelphia, according to 
word received by friends in this county.  He had been ill for some time.
  He was born at Harnedsville in 1869 and was also a resident of Confluence for 
years.  Following a stroke in 1935, he retired from active practice.  Besides 
living in Confluence, he lived four years in Washington.  He was a graduate of 
the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in 1903.
  His wife died in Confluence in 1937.  He is survived by a son, Dr. Walter C. 
Humbert of Fayettesville, Tenn., and a daughter, Mrs. Robert C. Weatherly, Jr., 
of Rutherford, N.J.
