Born Sept. 29, 1911, in Somerset, son of the late Earl and Mary (Donaldson) Humbert. Preceded in death by parents, four brothers and one sister. Survived by wife, Kathryn; one son, Walter of Afton, Wyo.; three grandchildren; one brother, Roy, of Grundy, W.Va.; five sisters, Edna H. Humbert of Whittaker, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Burnetta) Burke of Boswell; Janis Humbert and Mrs. Elwood (Rosie) Yoder of Somerset; and Mrs. Dwight (Irene) Sarver of Friedens. Retired coal miner. Member of the U.M.W.A., East Fork Sportsmen Inc., Potter Co.; Austin-Costello Sportsmen Association, American Rifleman and National Rifle Association. Attended St. Raymond's Catholic Church, Donegal. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Rt. 711 at Melcroft, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Father Francis Ott officiating.
