Hummel" Died on Monday at the Mercy Hospital, Johnstown, after an operation for an affection of the glands of the neck. Mrs. Hummel had resided for a time with her sister, Mrs. W. S. Griffith, Johnstown. Deceased was the widow of Millard Hummel and was a native of Jenner Township. For a number of years she lived at Somerset where her husband was the manager of the old Somerset Creamery before his death. For a time Mrs. Hummel was a stenographer for the Cambria Steel Company, she is survived by two daughters, Misses Nellie and Margaret Hummel, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Nell Griffith, the wife of Dr. W. S. Griffith and Miss Lucile Sipe, who also lives at the Griffith home and by one brother, J. M. Sipe. The body was taken to Somerset for interment. Meyersdale Commercial, Apr. 15, 1915
