  HUNTER
  
    John M. Hunter, 85, formerly of Shanksville, died Nov. 29, 1995, at St.
  Mary's Manor Nursing Home, Niagara Falls, N.Y.  He had been residing with
  his brother, Joe Hunter.  Son of Nelle (Shank) Hunter, who is living in
  Niagara Falls, and the late Charles M. Hunter.  Born Jan. 26, 1910, in
  Shanksville, where he lived for 80 years and was a lifelong member of
  Shanksville United Methodist Church.  Also surviving are a sister, Ruth T.
  Wilson, LaVale, Md.; nieces: Sara Jane (Wilson) Barmoy, LaVale; and Nancy
  (Hunter) Smith, Suffield, Conn.; and nephew, Charles Hunter, Clay, N.Y. 
  Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown.  Viewing from 11 a.m. Sunday followed by funeral service at 2
  p.m.  Interment will be in Walker Cemetery in Shanksville.  In lieu of
  flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the United Methodist
  Church, Shanksville, Pa. 15560.
