  BETTY P. HURL
  
    Betty P. Hurl, 54, Patton St., Somerset, died Jan. 28, 1982, at
  Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
    She was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Salisbury, a daughter of Annie (Miller)
  Koontz, Somerset, and the late Sylvester Koontz.  She is also survived by
  husband, Martin L. Hurl Jr., and these children: Robert, Jeffersonville,
  Ind.; Mrs. Elwood (Starlite) Kennell, Boswell RD 1; Mrs. Roy (Bonnie)
  Wright, Somerset RD 1; Martin W., at home; and five grandchildren.  She was
  a sister of Lewis Koontz, Warren, Ohio, and Mrs. Joseph (Mae) Brown,
  Somerset.  She was preceded in death by two brothers.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Paul Douglass officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
