Services for Frank Spencer Hussey Jr., 55, (Col. Ret. May, 1975) were conducted by Pastro [sic] Don Burroughs of the First United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 28, 1979, at 2 p.m. from the Meyer Funeral Home to College Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hussey died in the Scott AFB Medical Center on Wednesday afternoon, April 25, unexpectedly, after he had been cutting the grass at his home. He was born in East Foxboro, Mass., Feb. 16, 1924, a son of Frank S. and Elvera Olson Hussey (Schreffler). His mother survives in Los Angeles, Calif. He and Josephine Ruth Englehart were married in Kent, Ohio, May 8, 1943. She survives, as do a daughter, Vera, wife of Bradley Griggs, Naperville; a son, Frank Spencer Hussey, Champaign; a sister, Mrs. Bobbe Buckland, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and two grandchildren. He was a member of the Marissa Radio Club, an officer of the St. Clair Amateur Radio Club, and a director of the Gateway Ameteur [sic] Radio Association. The Husseys had lived in Lebanon since August, 1961. Pallbearers were Sgt. Roy Lang, Paul Sanford, Bob T. Thurgood, Andrew Fellner, Col. James White, and Chester Curnane.
