Born June 23, 1888, in Shade Township, Somerset County, the son of John and Miriam (Young) Huston. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, the former Matilda Berkebile, and four brothers. Survived by a nephew, Phillip Mostoller of Middletown, Pa. He was the brother of Mrs. Emanuel Berkebile of Hooversville, Lucian of Bedford RD. George of Cairnbrook, and James of Windber. Retired auto mechanic U.S. Army veteran of World War I, member of Central City American Legion, Johnstown VFW and Windber Barracks of World War I Veterans. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. J.R. Peterson officiating.
