  HUTZEL
  
    Austin C. Hutzel Sr., 81, Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord on
  June 10, 1999, at his home.  Born April 29, 1918, in Garrett County,
  Md.  A son of the late John William and Elizabeth (Speicher)
  Hutzel.  Also preceded in death by four brothers: Earnest, Clarence,
  Ray and Carl; step-granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Wedge; son-in-law, Paul
  Griffith; and grandson-in-law, Jody Bodes.  A loving husband, father
  and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 15 years, Ruth E.
  (Smith-Shipley) Hutzel; two children: Phillis Jean Griffith,
  Streetsboro, Ohio, and Austin C. "Chip" Hutzel Jr., and his wife
  Betty, Salisbury; five grandchildren: Pamela Calvin, Lisa Ann Hahn,
  Lori Jean Mahaffey, Anna Marie Hutzel and Betty Jo Bodes; five
  great-grandchildren: Timothy Lee Calvin, David Hahn, Katie Hahn,
  Angie Hahn and Olivia Marie Stephenson; step-children: John F.
  Shipley, Short Gar, W.Va.; Bruce E. Shipley, Somerset; Theodore L.
  Shipley, Kathy E. Sines and Tracy L. Wedge, all of Meyersdale; also
  12 step-grandchildren: Eric, Carrie, Ben, Katie, Susie, Jennie and
  Emily Shipley; Julie Sarver, Lee and William Sines; Kayla and Cody
  Wedge.  Attended New Hope United Church of Christ, Meyersdale. 
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Saturday, with Pastor Lamar Bender officiating.  Interment, Mt.
  Lebanon Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the New Hope U.C.C.
  Starlight Youth Group.
