HERMAN P. HUTZEL

  Herman P. Hutzel, 87, died at his home in Brothersvalley Township Wednesday 
night, Dec. 2.  He was born April 28, 1855.
  The following children survive: Mrs. George Ball, Charlottsville, Va.; William 
Hutzel, Meyersdale; Mrs. Harriet Coslic, Berlin R.D. 5; Mrs. Joseph Rosie, 
Sodman; Herman, Glencoe; Samuel, Ellerslie, Md.; Paul and Ernest at home.  There 
are 40 grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Barney Beal, 
Mrs. Elizabeth Sheeler, Mrs. Daniel Braucher, and Simon Hutzel.  His wife died 
some years ago.
  Funeral services were conducted last Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Temple 
Evangelical White Oak Church, with the resident pastor in charge.  Burial in the 
White Oak Cemetery with Johnson and Son, Berlin morticians, in charge.
