Born November 13, 1917, in Wittenburg, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Kahl) Lasure. She was preceded in death by husband Floyd Edison Hutzell in 1994; sister Hazel M. Worley and brother Ray W. Lasure. She is survived by her loving children: Hilda Mae Saylor, Helen Marie Gallagher and husband Robert; Rodger Allan and wife Rose, all of Meyersdale; and Floyd Phillip and wife Holly of Salisbury; also survived by her loving grandchildren: David and Barry Saylor, Gloria Shuck, Robert Gallagher, Jr., James Gallagher, Lori Weisel, Lisa Wengard, Shane and Travis Hutzell, Karen Ervin, Rodger Hutzell Jr., and Todd Hutzell; and loving great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Lisa, Matthew, Jessica, Christina, Barry Jr., Carl Jr., Tina, Holly, Megan, Alason, Shaina, Ava, Edward, Davie, Nick, Julian, James Jr., Timothy, Nick, Adam, Mark, Ashley, Darian, Christian, Elise, Jeannette, and great-great-grandchildren: Abrea, Makayla, Niki, Leonard Jr., and Angelica. Florence belonged to the White Oak Evangelical Lutheran Church all her life and was one of the original members, along with her parents. She enjoyed being with her family, working side by side with her husband in running their farm, and was an avid reader. Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 a.m., time of service, Tuesday at White Oak Lutheran Church with Pastor Frank Harpster officiating. Interment, White Oak Cemetery.
