JOHN CALVIN HUTZELL

  John Calvin Hutzell, a retired Western Maryland Railroad Maintenance employee, 
died at his home in Meyersdale, R.D., early Sunday morning, November 30, 1941, 
at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 4 days.  Mr. Hutzell, a son of Michael and 
Hannah (Givler) Hutzell, was born on May 26, 1865.  He is survived by his wife, 
Josephine Ellen (Knight) Hutzell and one adopted son, William C. Hutzell, of 
North Carolina.
  Services were conducted at the home of the deceased's brother-in-law, Jacob 
Hutzell, on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30.  Rev. Howard K. Hilner, pastor of the 
Zion Lutheran Church, had charge of the service.  Interment was made in Union 
Cemetery, under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician.
