   John J. Huzsek, 86, Somerset, formerly of Hooversville, died Jan. 4, 2008, at Siemon's
  Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Jan. 7, 1921, in Gray, a son of Harry and Julia (Kotko)
  Huzsek. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Richard Alan; five brothers and four
  sisters. Survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Delores ÒDottieÓ Hironimus;
  children, Harry and wife, Jean, Hooversville; Linda Holsopple, Hollsopple; John and
  wife, Ruth, Stoystown; Dianna, married to Joost Weijers, Boswell; Benji and wife,
  Patricia, Friedens; and Patricia, married to Donald Koenig, Davidsville; 16
  grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great- granddaughter; and a sister,
  Susie Simmons, Florida. He was a World War II Army veteran. Former owner of Huzsek's 
  Tire and Oil, Hooversville. Former member of the Hooversville VFW. Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, 
  where a service will be held 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Frank Young officiating. Interment
  POS of A Cemetery, Hooversville. Memorial contributions may be given to ÒIn TouchÓ
  Hospice, 1590 North Center Ave., Suite 111, Somerset, P 15501. The Somerset County Honor
  Guard will provide graveside military honors.
