Hyatt, 87, Confluence, died July 5, 2004, at Somerset Hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1917, in Confluence a son of the late Delmar and Angie (Hyatt) Hyatt. Preceded in death by parents; an infant son, Dennis and brothers, Alvin, Don and Delmar Jr. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorotha A. (Tressler) Hyatt; sons, Gary M. and wife Linda, Slippery Rock and Gregory K. and wife Kathryn, Lily Dale, N.Y.; grandsons, Matthew Gregory Hyatt, Brian Michael and wife Erika, Hyatt; stepgrandsons, Darius and Zachariah Goodworth; a great-granddaughter Alysa Hyatt; brother, Paul Hyatt, Tallahassee, Fla. and sister, Jean Ruhe, Stewartstown. He was a member of Silbaugh United Methodist Church, and owned and operated a barber shop, in Confluence for over 50 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the hour of service at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. The Rev. Dane Cramer and Rev. Dennis Dawson officiating. Interment in Silbaugh Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to Silbaugh United Methodist Church, or Michael J.
