He was the son of the late Allen and Molly (Wirsing) Hyatt of Fairoaks. As a young man he was married to Angie Hyatt and made his home in Fairoaks until about 10 years ago, he and his family moved to Baltimore where he worked as a carpenter until his illness. Surviving him are his wife and five sons - Paul, Alvin, Delmer, Jr. and Donald of Baltimore, and Charles, of Confluence - one daughter, Jean; three grandchildren, one brother, Herbert, of Meyersdale, and two sisters, Edna Kregar of Confluence R.D., and Kate Conaway. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Humbert Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold J. Byrd of the Church of God, Greensburg, officiating. Burial was made in the Jersey Cemetery by C. B.
