Hyatt, a B. & O. night watchman near Markleton was instantly killed near Markleton early Tuesday morning by being struck by a freight train. Both legs were broken his head was badly bruised and he was otherwise mutilated. Mr. Hyatt, who was about 35 years of age, resided a mile southwest of Markleton in Addison Township. He is survived by his wife who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rugg, also residents of Addison Township and by two small children. Meyersdale Commercial, Mar. 25, 1915
