  CLARK A. ICKES
  
  Clark A. Ickes, 79, 139 Plainfield Ave., Johnstown, died Jan. 23, 1990, at
  Lee Hospital.
  He was born Jan. 31, 1910, in Meyersdale, son of George E. and Nettie (Imler)
  Ickes.
  He was preceded in death by parents; stepdaughter, Evelyn; six brothers; and
  one sister.
  He is survived by wife, former Margaret Horner, and stepdaughter, Ruth E.
  Robson, Coca, Fla.; also survived by four stepgrandchildren and four
  stepgreat-grandchildren. He was a brother of Paul, Mary Esther, Fla.; Fred,
  Street, Md.; and Anna Burkholder, Confluence.
  He was a member of First Lutheran Church and Post 294, American Legion;
  retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md.; World War II Army veteran.
  Friends were received at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, Johnstown, where
  services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Nelson F. Ilgenfritz.
  Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
