  ICKES 
  
  Clyde W. Ickes, 72, of Berlin RD 4, died March 5, 1993, at home. Born Dec. 1,
  1920, in Brothersvalley Township, son of Clyde William and Dorothy E.
  (Kendall) Ickes. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Paul, and sister,
  Avis Rhodes. Survived by son, C. William III, at home; brother-in-law,
  Calvert Rhodes, Berlin RD 3; and several nieces and nephews. He was retired
  from the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a World War II Army Air Corps
  veteran. Member of Berlin Ameriean Legion and Meyersdale Lodge B.P.O.E.
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Revs.
  George and Sandy Baker officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery. Memorial
  contributions may be given to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice.
