  Mrs. Leora M. Ickes, 68, of 415 Main St., Boswell died August 4, 1973 at
  Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born November 11, 1904 in Quemahoning
  Township, Somerset County. A daughter in John W. and Ella (Gardner) Trostle,
  Preceded in death by parents and husband, Comfrey S., Sr., May 8, 1955; one
  brother and two half-sisters. Survived by these children: Rev. C. J., married
  to Ruby Horner of Boswell RD 2; Wayne W. married to Leona M. Leasock of
  Boswell; Rose E., wife of Alex Hammond and Kay, wife of Neil Place, both of
  Detriot, Mich., and Comfrey S. Jr., married to Phyllis McTonic of Boswell; 17
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister of Ward Trostle Sr. of
  Butler. She was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Boswell. Retired
  insurance agent. At time of death secretary-treasurer of Ickes Insurance
  Agency, Boswell.  Friends received after 7 p.m. Monday (today)
  at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home (successor to Donald B. Hay) 409
  Main St., Boswell and from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, until the time of the
  funeral service, 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Boswell with
  the Rev. George A. Clark officiating.  Interment I. O. O. F.
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
