  Marjorie Ann Ickes, 78, of Tyrone died April 17, 2001 at the Tyrone Hospital.
  She was born March 14, 1923 in Tyrone, the daughter of John E. and Martha
  Blanehe White Hevner and on July 3, 1959 at Altoona. She was married to Jack
  G. Ickes who survives. Also surviving is a son Mark and wife Pamela
  Tokar-Ickes of Somerset and a daughter Lisa of Tyrone. Two grandsons,
  Bradford and Terrell Ickes of Somerset; and one brother William Hevner of
  Deland, Fla. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and a
  special Class of '41 Girls Club. She was a graduate of Tyrone High Sehool
  Class of 1941 and had, been employed by Bell Telephone Company, the Tyrone
  Hospital and as an Aide in the Tyrone School District. She enjoyed current
  events, traveling, sitting on her porch and spending time with her family. A
  memorial Serviee will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First English Lutheran
  Church with Pastor T. M. Talbot-Moses officiating. The family will receive
  friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorial
  contributions are requested to the Allegheny Lutheran Adult Day Activities
  Program, 701 Quail Avenue, Altoona, Pa. 16602. Arrangements are under the
  direction of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc, Tyrone.
