Washington, Pittsburgh, died suddenly of a heart attack in a drugstore near his home, Thursday evening, Feb. 5. He was a son of the late Charles A. Imhoff and Mrs. Mary (Gardner) Imhoff. During his childhood, he lived with his parents in Berlin. His wife, Sarah (Collins) Imhoff, died 20 years ago. Mr. Imhoff was a passenger brakeman on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad for nearly 40 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Imhoff, with whom he made his home, and his daughter, Mrs. Rose Mae Brown, both of Mt. Washington, Pa. Funeral services were held at his late residence, 73 Pasadena St., Mt. Washington, Saturday evening at 8 o'clock. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin, Sunday at 1 p.m., in charge of Johnson & Son. Rev. Ira R. Harkins was in charge of the commitment services. Out-of-town friends attending the Imhoff funeral services were Mrs. Mary Imhoff and Mrs. Rose Mae Brown, Pittsburgh; Mr. and Mrs. Foster Imhoff and niece, Akron, O.; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Shaffer, Hyndman; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Imhoff and Mr. and Mrs. James Imhoff and sons, Johnstown; Ted Imhoff, Connellsville; Percy May, Cumberland, and several friends from Meyersdale and Somerset.
