Imler, 96 of Cumberland, formerly of Meyersdale, died May 20, 2006 at Memorial Hospital Cumberland, MD. Born June 16, 1909 in Meyersdale. A daughter of the late Benjamin and Elsie (Poorbaugh) Imler. Also preceded in death by three brothers: Maurice, Lee, and Merle Imler; and a sister, Lenore Miller. Survived by nephews: David Imler, Ryan Cole Imler, Brent Paugh, Robert Imler, Brian Imler, Tim Imler, Ryan Allen Imler, George Miller, and Clark Imler; and nieces: Linda Imler, Melissa Imler, Patricia Paugh, Brianne Paugh, Kim Imler, Carol Imler, Roxanne Imler, and Layla Miller. Nell was a school teacher in Pennsylvania for forty years. Her teaching years began in a one room schoolhouse. She served as a hostess at Maple Manor in the kitchen during the Maple Festival. A member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening and she lived life to the fullest. A member of the United Methodist Church in Meyersdale. Memorials may be made to the church in Nell's name. Friends were received 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, time of service was Tuesday, at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale. The Rev. Joseph Onder Officiated.
