  IRONS
  
  Mary Louise Irons, 85, Somerset, died Jan. 27, 2001 at her residence. Born
  Nov. 4, 1915, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Elizabeth Pearl (Homer)
  Shirey. Preceded in death by parents, 4 sisters, Ruth Shirey, Dorothy Wentz,
  Elizabeth Harbaugh and Susanna Satterfield. Survived by sister, Mrs. Owen C.
  (Edith) Oaks, Boswell, and 8 nieces and 4 nephews. A 1934 graduate of Dale
  High School. Retired in 1981 as office manager and bookkeeper for the former
  Somerset store of Penn Furniture Company with 23 years service. Member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, American Legion Post 181 Auxiliary and 
  F.O. Eagles 1801 Auxiliary. Friends received from 24 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at 
  the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be at 10 a.m.
  Wednesday. A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday by the American
  Legion Auxiliary, Unit 181. Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating. Interment,
  Friedens Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church,
  918 Tayman Ave., Somerset, Pa., 15501, or American Heart Association, 400
  Luray Ave., Johnstown, Pa., 15905.
