EMMA H. IRVIN

  Mrs. Emma H. Irvin, 75, a former resident of Meyersdale, died Monday night at 
her home in Fairmont, W.Va.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Hammond 
and was born in Meyersdale.  Her husband, William Irvin, a Baltimore & Ohio 
engineer, preceded her in death.
  Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Elizabeth Mathias, Fairmont, W.Va.; 
William Irvin, New Cumberland; Harry Irvin, Pittsburgh; Benjamin Irvin, 
Lancaster; and Sarah Irvin, Fairmont, W.Va.  She also leaves a sister, Mrs. John 
N. Cover, Meyersdale, and a brother, Charles Hammond, Oakland, Maryland.
  The remains were removed this Thursday morning to the home of Mrs. Cover in 
Meyersdale, where funeral services were conducted at 2 this afternoon.  
Interment in the Meyersdale Union Cemetery.
