  IRWIN
  
  Richard L. Irwin, 66, of Tayman Avenue, Somerset, died July 30, 1978 in
  Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Feb. 19, 1912 at Boyer, West
  Virginia, the son of the late Edgar and Mabel (Walker) Irwin. Preceded in
  death by his wife, the former Pearle (Jimmie) Leer who died in March 1978;
  also three brothers and two sisters. Survived by two sons: Richard L. II and
  James Michael, both of Somerset; also four grandchildren and two sisters:
  Mrs. Maye Gilliland of Somerset and Martha, wife of Lowell Dial of Houston,
  Texas. He was a former partner at the North Side Heat Company and a veteran
  of World War II. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at
  10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Weber officiating. Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
